BOO Jihyun, an artist who creates works based on the subject of nature and memory, was recently featured in “2020 World Heritage Festival Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes: 만년의 비밀 속으로 (Into the Secrets of Ten Thousand Years)”, which ended on 20 September.

“Reflect and reflect” was created with Jeju Island, a World Heritage site, as its backdrop.

Inspired by a path flowing with lava, BOO explores “the symbiosis between humans and nature” through this work, which has been documented and recorded as a beautiful video.

With the rise of COVID19, people’s newfound appreciation for nature is amplified through this work, which allows for a time of reflection.
