LEE Jinju replaces the landscape of women, bodies and personal experiences with her own the surreal atmosphere. As the only Korean artist who participated in the opening exhibition of White Cube Seoul in 2023, she is spending busy days to participate exhibitions of the Netherlands' Marres Art Museum, Arario Museum Tapdong Cinema and also Song Eun Art Center's <PANORAMA> at the same time. LEE, who focuses on the characters and objects appearing on the screen with a delicate expression applying oriental painting techniques, uses black pigments that absorb light to give a sense of depth and immersion. LEE proposes a differentiated perspective and experience of "Ways of Seeing" of art, allows the audience to turn around the work themselves through a long-structured installation using a mineral spring.
