The Korea Foundation for International Exchange (KF, Chairman Kim Ki-hwan) announced on the 12th that it will hold the "Korea Experimental Art Exhibition" to introduce Korean art from the 1960s and 1970s at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.
Since the 1960s and 1970s were an authoritarian society and globalization was underway at the same time, many creative and extensive works of avant-garde art by artists were poured out.
At that time, young artists used various media such as paintings, sculptures, photographs, and videos to express social changes caused by Korea's rapid modernization and urbanization in art.
