Only part of the scene and part of the characters are contained, but the photos in squared shape are full of dance. Those are HWANG Gyutae's 'Blowup' series, which is considered one of Korea's representative photographers.
He reinterpreted and released photos he took in the 2000s and 1960s when realism was in vogue. The method of reinterpretation was simple. Which just means 'Blow Up,' that he took off parts from his past black and white photogrphies and "blowed up" by Photoshop, just like his famous 'Pixel' series took TV screens and magnified them to Photoshop by cutting off parts of black and white photos in the past. Although it is such a simple way, even though the "Pixel" series took the substance in a straight way, it was surprising that it was transformed into a new image and interpretation as if we had unfolded a landscape that we could not see with the naked eye.
