CI KIM vividly remembered a wonderful rainbow he saw as a child even after decades. Since then, rainbow greatly influenced on his overall art work, which he has learned art on his own without receiving any formal education related to art. However, while rainbows used to remain only in the form of abstract concepts such as dreams, hopes, beauty, and art, recent work focuses on the rainbow's colorful colors themselves. The main work is to vividly show the instinctive attraction and urge to color. Perhaps that's why his recent painting series, 'Untitled,' has a higher chroma and brightness, more livley atmosphere.
