KWON Osang (50), who is known for "photographic sculpture" that combines two-dimensional photographs with three-dimensional sculptures, became interested in MOON Shin 1922-1995) who is a first-generation sculptor, when he saw MOON Shin's work at an auction house near his house last year. Afterwards, KWON Osang rediscovered MOON Shin by looking for various books and materials and fell in love with him.
The duo exhibition of GWON Osang and MOON Shin, Carving in, Modeling out, which is being held at the Arario Gallery in Wonseo-dong, Jong-no fu, Seoul, started like this. Artist GWON, who was preparing for a solo exhibition at Arario Gallery, proposed a duo exhibition with MOON Shin to the gallery.
