WHERE ARE WE
What the theme is, which material to use, and how to place it on the canvas? From young artists who are attracting attention such as KOO Jiyoon, AHN Jisan, and LEE Jihyun to emerging artists such as Yuki SAEGUSA and Kohei YAMADA, the group exhibition <Landing Point> consists of 48 paintings by 13 contemporary artists working in Korea and Japan, is a place to examine the current location and future direction of contemporary art by looking at various angles from the perspective of artists. Artists who share similarities between the times and regions look at the world with different focuses. Their personal experiences and senses are visualized with various materials and expressions and are located on the canvas. The screen which shows "now" is filling the entire gallery, provides the driving force to pioneer a new route toward the future. The exhibition is hold until February 17, at Arario Gallery Seoul.
