BYUN Soonchoel's solo exhibition "Eternal Family" at The Korea Society has been extended through 26 February 2021. The exhibition features a series of the same name, which reunites family members who have been separated by the Korean War through photography as a medium. As Korea's representative portrait photographer, BYUN Soonchoel neither decorates nor circumvents subject or fact, having captured within his photographic time a particular period's social culture, the people living through contemporary historicality, the truth they face.
