White Cube, a world-famous gallery, will open "White Cube Seoul" on the first floor of the Horim Art Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul in September as the second space in Asia. The opening exhibition will feature a group exhibition of seven people, including LEE Jinju and Luis Giovanni, under the theme of "The Embedded Spirit," from September 5. It was planned by Susan May, the global artistic director of White Cube.
Among the seven artists, Korean artist LEE Jinju (42) was included. She is a popular artist who graduated from Hongik University's Oriental Painting Department and has been receiving love calls at home and abroad, including the United States and Indonesia, since 2006. The artist, who held a solo exhibition at the Arario Gallery in 2019, creates strange beauty on canvas with detailed techniques of dramatization.
