[News] Masterpieces turned into Ipad animations.

Masterpieces at the National Gallery in the United Kingdom have been transformed into animations. The artist Nalini MALANI's hand-drawn iPad animation moves quickly and cheerfully, erasing and reinterpreting classical masterpieces. Along with the video, the space is filled with a narration by Cassandra, a female prophet who talks about the fall of the ancient myth Troy.

 

'My Reality is Different,' a representative video work of Nalini Malani (77), a female media art artist representing Indian modern art, came to Korea. Produced on the occasion of winning the National Gallery Contemporary Fellowship in 2020 and exhibited at the National Gallery in London in 2022, the work consists of 34 iPad animations. Images projected through nine projectors overlap each other and fill the space.
