[News] Um Museum hold a solo exhibition of Aono Fumiaki, "Unknown Memories Open"

UM Museum (Director Jin Hee Sook) in Hwaseoung, Gyeonggi-do, will hold a solo exhibition Unknown Memories by Japanese installation artist Aono Fumiaki (56) from April 4 to June 8 as an invitation for 2024.

It is the next exhibition in Korea after 10 years following the past exhibition at ARARIO GALLERY, Reincarnation: Memories from the Great Tsunami, in 2014.

This exhibition, which will be held for the first time this year at the UM Museum, returns to the artist's original theme and deals with the circulation, repair, and transformation of objects. It reminds the audience of the traces of memory or loss of previous life and allows them to experience an experience that opens up memories of ignorance about things.
