Through LEE Jinju's "Visible 21," one of her black painting works, the artist confronts the limits of human experience and thought, attempting to transform the possibilities beyond perception into a realm of "black darkness."
In the artwork, the world of "emptied voids" now leads us to a world of "intense illumination," filled with darkness. The void is no longer a space of resonance and harmony but has become a place to be newly observed and faced directly.
