The two sculptors who defied time will have a special encounter with each other. Through the duo exhibition "Carving in, Modeling Out" by MOON Shin (1922-1995), a first-generation Korean sculptor born between a Korean father and a Japanese mother who dominated various media, and artist GWON Osang (50) who has been known for his media experiments such as photo sculpture since the late 1990s. The exhibition will run through June 22 at ARARIO GALLERY SEOUL in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The exhibition, which examines experimental attitudes toward materiality and spatiality of sculptures pursued by artists from two different eras, displays a total of 49 artworks including sculptures and drawings.
