Chungcheong Today: Unbo Kim Ki Chang

ARARIO GALLERY CHEONAN presents the exhibition Unbo Kim Ki Chang, from 18 February 2025 (Tue) to 22 March 2026 (Sun). Unbo (雲甫) Kim Ki Chang (1914–2001)  was a pioneering artist who played a pivotal role in modernizing traditional Korean painting within Korea’s modern and contemporary art scene. Having acquired a hearing disability at a young age and lived in silence throughout his life, he conveyed his artistic vision through works distinguished by dynamic brushstrokes and an extraordinary sense of vitality.
