The solo exhibition "It Has Always Been The Beginning" by the late female artist JUNG Kangja, Korea's first-generation performing artist, is being held at Arario Gallery Seoul (until the 30th of next month). The exhibition introduces paintings by JUNG Kangja, who can read the changes in works from the 1990s to the 2000s.
Arario Gallery said, "JUNG Kangja has not received a fair evaluation in the domestic art scene for a long time, but she continued her work until just before her death with art as her life itself and goal." "Since the 2000s, the need for research and re-evaluation on her has begun to be raised, and recent attempts to re-examine her work world have been made in various ways in the domestic and foreign art world."
