When I go to see young artists' works, I feel very light in my heart and in my footsteps. On a weekday afternoon, when I opened the door of the Arario Gallery Seoul near Anguk Station, It might not be the only reason I was excited not only because of the big snow. The title of the exhibition, <Landing Point> brings together the works of artists from different backgrounds and careers. It is ironic that energetic artists who are active in their careers are "landing" somewhere, but it's pretty exquisite word to say that they have just "landed" and are expanding their own art world. In addition, considering that this is an exhibition gathered only paintings, the medium of painting and the canvas itself can be seen as a "landing point" where one's work life, technique, gaze, and philosophy are all embedded. Freshness, rather than skillfulness, fills their "Landing Point."
