This publication is an exhibition catalog for 《Turbulent O'clock》 which was held from March 8 to April 20 at the ARARIO GALLERY CHEONAN.
KIM Inbai(b. 1978) agonized over interesting ideas and reproducibility and tried to find a compromise between possibility and impossibility. As a result, what was born was artwork completed with a combination of movement, rhythm, and time. Unlike his previous exhibition, the 2011 solo exhibition, 《Turbulent O'clock》, was mainly a group work of 10 or more objects forming a single work, unlike his previous exhibition way where one object became one work of art. Human body sculptures, divided into head, torso, arms, and legs, were placed on pedestals or hung from the ceiling rhythmically in a curved line according to his intention. He left the following promise, hoping that the resonant sound created by the power of his artwork touching the viewer distorted the spatio-temporal cognition so that they could meet at any time, regardless of the time it is now.
"See you turbulent o'clock."
