ARARIO GALLERY will participate in “Spotlight” section of FRIEZE MASTERS 2024, which will be held at The Regent’s Park, London from 9 (Wed) to 13 (Sun) October 2024. This year’s “Spotlight” section, curated by Valerie Cassel Oliver is dedicated to solo presentations of pioneering 20th century artists.
ARARIO GALLERY will present a selection of 25 black and white photographic works from the 1960s by Korea’s first generation female artist PARK Youngsook (b. 1941). PARK has adopted the social and cultural issues faced by Korean women as her main themes and through her exceptional visual language, and she has played a major role in laying the foundation for Korean feminist art.
